What do I need to do to prepare for my calf's arrival?
Cattle are herd animals. It is always best to have at least 2. They need shelter from the hot sun, cold wind, and a dry place to sleep.
Your calf will arrive with a bag of calf starter, a brush for grooming, and instructions on how to establish a vaccination schedule with your vet.
How do I reserve an animal?
To reserve an animal, you need to contact us and arrange to pay a deposit of 50% to hold the animal and the remaining 50% is due when the animal is picked up. We accept Venmo, Credit Card (with 3.5% processing fee), or a check in the mail. The check must arrive in time to clear the bank before the animal is picked up.
How do I find trustworthy transportation?
We can connect you with trustworthy transporters we have used for years. They provide you with a quote and you work with them directly to arrange pick up and delivery.
How do I avoid being Scammed?
There are so many scammers out there right now. Click on "Important Questions to ask breeders when purchasing cattle" and read through the list. The more you ask for these things and the seller provides it, their credibility grows.
Ask on the Cattle Facebook pages. "Has anyone had any experience with _____ at _____ farm?" A reputable breeder will not be offended if you ask for references or seek information from prior customers.
