White Lightning (aka Big J)

Big J came from Hang 5 Galloways in Wyoming.  Sarah raises the best Galloway cattle next to the OG Jim Grant!

Big J started in all.  He is short for a Galloway and has an unbelievable temperament.  His dam was awarded best temperament among Galloways.

He has crossed rainbow bridge, but his genetics live on!  Many of our best Mommas are his offspring.   We will be starting a registered herd with his genetics combined with some Bitterroot Galloway and Hang 5 heifers.

Straws are no longer available.  We are down to 15 and we are hoarding them.

Morty

Morty is the founder of our Miniature herd.   He came from Diamond B Ranch in South Dakota.  He is the sweetest little bull!  He now lives at Evan's Acres Mini Farm in Utah.  He has given us some of the most amazing babies and is sire to the adorable Earl of Manly Cattle Co.

Morty straws are available HERE, or by calling Hoffman AI Breeders in Logan, Utah.  (435) 753-7883.  Message me about bulk discounts for 10+ straws.

Kier

Kier is a very small registered highland from Lil' Valley Ranch in Montana.  He is also puppy dog mellow and super sweet.  He loves to be brushed and will follow you anywhere if you have a treat in your pocket!

We have 3 Kier babies on the ground with mid size galloway moms.  They have all been under 22" at birth and there is no chondro gene involved.  We will continue to monitor his birthweights until we feel comfortable breeding him to our chondro positive girls.  Kier is 2.5 years old and stands 43" on top.

His babies are Jager, Felicity, and Ivan.  This boy throws HAIR!  Straws will be available in March.

Shaq pic

Shaq

Shaq is on loan from Clayton Farms Cattle Co. in beautiful Phenix, VA.  He is unbelievable.  He doesn't shed out in the summer and has an amazing double coat.  His hair measures over 10" long!  He is the most chill grass puppy you will ever meet.  Do you see a pattern here?  All of our bulls have similar temperaments.  We are really picky about that!

Shaq is 18 months old and 35" tall.  He is currently breeding a group of females - some of which are available now.

Sake

Sake is an offspring of Morty.  He stands at 37" at 18 months.  He is non-chondro and of course... sweet as can be!

We have seen him in action and can't wait until one of the babies shows him as the daddy!  He will be collected and semen will be available in March.

Little Joe

Chondro + Galloway/Highland

Little Joe is the perfect mix of Highland and Galloway.  His mom is Lacey, daughter of Chantilly.  His dad is Hank.  Hank is a dun micro bull born on our farm who now lives at Clayton Farm Cattle Company in Virginia.  Hank is son of Morty.

Little Joe's genes run deep here.  We even raised his great grandmother!  He will stay on our farm forever, making adorable babies with our gorgeous up and coming heifers.

When you purchase an animal from us...

you can count on these things...

  • Good Health

We make sure our babies nurse right away and get all the colostrum they need. We give them the vitamins, minerals, and vaccines they need to get off to a healthy start.

  • Socialization

Our momma cows trust us with their babies, so our calves are handled by loving humans from the very beginning.   They are used to being brushed and loved on!

  • Temperament

Our breeding program is centered around temperament.  The Idaho Galloway Genetics have been carefully curated with registered cattle with award winning dispositions.   As we add mature cattle to our program, we work with them extensively to make sure their natural temperment aligns with our goals.

  • Health Certificate

Included is a Health Certificate for interstate travel issued by our Veterinarian.  The calf will get an ID tag in its ear for vet records.  The vet will make sure the calf is in good health and ready to travel.

  • Halter, Lead, & Brush

Your calf will come home with a halter and lead rope to help you continue with their halter training.  We also include their favorite brush!

  • A bag of feed & treats

Your calf has been eating calf starter while being weaned from its mother.  We send a bag of calf starter and a bag of our favorite treats!
