Fanny Mae (SOLD)

Fanny Mae is original Idaho Galloway Cattle Genetics.  Her sire is Big J (Bright Lite 61B) from Sarah Bowman's Hang 5 Cattle and her dam is from one of the most historic galloway breeders in America, Jim Grant.  She is pure galloway and will throw polled calves no matter what she's bred to.  She has a beautiful roan white coat with red tips.  Fanny will take treats from your hand, but doesn't like to be brushed.  She's not overly friendly, but she's not mean or aggressive.  She is due any day and will be available with her calf within 2 weeks post delivery.

Marley

Marley is an unregistered full black highland.  She's 5 years old with a heifer calf at her side.  The heifer calf parentage is pending.  She could potentially mature under 42".   It took us a couple of seasons to get Marley to warm up to human contact.  She will now take treats from us and let us brush her and scratch her face and neck.  She stands 46" tall and is currently being bred back to Hank (see bulls page).  

Will confirm bred by vet with blood test prior to delivery if desired.

you can count on these things...

  • Good Health

    We make sure our cattle receive the vaccinations they need to stay healthy.  They have unlimited access to free mineral and we supplement with protein tubs and power cubes to make sure they maintain muscle mass.

  • Temperament

    Our breeding program is centered around temperament.  The Idaho Galloway Genetics have been carefully curated with registered cattle with award winning dispositions.   As we add mature cattle to our program, we work with them extensively to make sure their natural temperment aligns with our goals.

  • Health Certificate

    Included is a Health Certificate for interstate travel issued by our Veterinarian.  The calf will get an ID tag in its ear for vet records.  The vet will make sure the calf is in good health and ready to travel.

  • Socialization

    Momma cows born on our farm with our original genetics, get brushed regularly and  trust us with their babies.  Momma cows we bring in from other farms are worked with daily to encourage similar behavior.
